Alky Control Turbo Buick 1986-1987 No Map Methanol Injection Kit

This is a Turbo Buick MAP trigger kit specifically made for the Turbo Buick application. This system uses an aftermarket methanol tank and triggers based on readings from the MAP sensor. Then increases the drive to the pump as the frequency increases. This version does not includes a 3 bar map sensor. The vehicle must have a 3 bar or 3.5 bar map to signal the controller. The original MAP sensor is a 2 bar, will only read to 14.7 psi. This is why the 3 bar map is needed. Consult your tuner for his preference on trigger MAF vs MAP. *Notice: If you are using 100% meth the pump should be rebuilt every 2 years, contact us for info.
This kit is typically bought with the M15 nozzle option and to be used with 100% methanol. Stock turbo or limited performance select the M10 nozzle option. Wishing to use 50/50 select the M10 nozzle option and let the tuner/chip maker your intention of running mix. Performance wise a single nozzle kit on Pump Gas 93, will support mid 10’s in the 1/4 on iron heads or upper 9’s on aluminum heads. Past this level, go to the twin nozzle option. Modified pump rated for 100% Methanol- Running 100% Methanol adds high Octane fuel as well as cooling the intake charge tremendously. Water / Methanol only cools. It does not add the necessary Octane for maximum power output.
